CHINA'S textile exports may climb 15 percent last year to US$161 billion, the Xinhua news agency said, quoting Cao Xinyu, deputy director of the China Chamber of Commerce for the Import and Export of Textiles.

The National Development and Reform Commission, China's top planning body, said in May that textile exports growth would slow to 15 percent in 2006, from 20.7 percent in 2005.
